Reading the comments I’ve realized that the song made more success than the Enlightenment itself.

Se ve muy chido los efectos

Enlightenment is pretty awesome, and Debian of course =)

  5. Ataryui says:

Kde3 owns, kde4 sucks. Use openbox now, thinking about trying enlightenment looks pretty nice.

Have been using E16 a bit, did like the propper screenshotting pager (can’t seem to find a working one for other WM’s) also the command to automatically unclutter windows.. the amiga-style pulldown desktops was also an interesting idea

stfu yall. KDE sux, Gnome sux.

    Xfce ftw. always.

  11. dellthinker says:

    Gnome 2.0 all the way

Have fun with your easily crashing (as Exile is highly unstable still) and ugly non-useable gtk+ ui music library software then. KDE is not bloated unless you want it to be one. You can adjust it more than you can adjust Gnome. (Gnome is the desktop of the brainless people.) KDE is a lot better and Amarok rocks no matter on what desktop you are. Besides I believe most Gnome people use Amarok.

And why are you using Exile if you want lightweight desktop? You should be using XMMS, Audacious, etc.

  13. Amebixfan says:

Amarok ftw only if you use KDE. But KDE is a bloated piece of shit so I use Exaile

  14. AnXare says:

Exaile is bugbaipythonshit… Amarok ftw! :)

The great thing about Linux is you have choices.
I use Fluxbox, KDE 4.2, and XFCE

  16. egnost says:

This guy uses Amarok. Didn’t you see it?

  17. e1337r0ck3rX7 says:

KDE is awful…bloated…full of stuff I never use…like windows. Instead of installing that and taking the time to remove every app I don’t want (oh right well theres dependencies on those apps)

I install a WM like e17 and theme it, then install only the apps I ACTUALLY WANT. The grunge theme I use looks 100x better than KDE :]

  18. egnost says:

    Awful. Buy yourself a KDE.

  19. Amebixfan says:

    use exaile instead

“What I like about Enlightenment in general is that its so lightweight and still manages to deliver eyecandy.”
Same. The problem is I often end up missing some of the functionality provided by CF :/ (though additional aesthetics can’t hurt either XD).

“Hmmm…this module would give Enlightenment extra compositing functions. It wouldn’t be CF in and of itself but rather lend e17 its abilities.”

Yeah. My statement wasn’t technically correct. E17 is nice but I always end up missing the features of CF.

  25. LordDestros says:

I know that but if there were some sort of “module” which would allow Compiz to be run under it (as has been requested on CF forums a few times though not really considered for practical reasons).
