About switching to Fedora I recommend you to try it and then decide which distro you feel more comfortable with. I think its a matter of personal taste.
About wine, it runs perfectly on FC.

		<description>can someone help me install ubuntu or any linux? i got the bit torrent now, and i burnt it to a cd. now wat? nothing happens when i put the cd in comp, and its not readable in the [starting] boot menu. do i &#039;enter&#039; on floppy or cd? they both do not work.</description>

burn it onto a disk..


then in ur BIOS when ur computer first boots up press delete and all that good stuff


then have ur computer boot from cd

and it should start to run/install linux from the disk in your drive...or you can actually buy install disks for like ten bucks or whatever...</description>

your normal burner should have an option for that...
