I started dual-xp and ubuntu but I feel I do not ve Ubuntu.Je ‘installed on different hard drives, and eliminating one on Ubuntu and the boot loader that comes with it.
To remove the boot loader, you can boot from your Windows XP CD and enter the recovery console (Press R when it asks you whether you want to install windows)
At the console type…
fixmbr
Now you should be able to boot straight into XP without the GRUB boot loader.
Finally you can format the Linux partition from within Windows to remove it and make the space available for XP again.
Format your ubuntu drive from XP.
