Trevor has been working on the launcher system upgrade and we ended up with an endless loop of hell, or so it seems. It’s really quite funny to watch programs update the launcher / launch eachother constantly. We are in a security building a few other switches to prevent this from happening again. Meanwhile, it is a fun video to watch. Note, this is one of the few videos showing that lom does indeed work on Windows and MacOS X. We will also set up a FreeBSD / PC-BSD distribution as well. ——————— TheLegend of Mazzeroth is an open-source 2D RPG MMORPG project / which has been in development since February 2008. Originally based on the world of Mana, lom dumped code base and started a new code base, called New Age, in September 2008. I decided once there was enough material to record video I review the development of lom by recording short clips of each test phase. For more information about The Legend of Mazzeroth, its developers and how you can participate, visit our website lom. newagesoftware. org

There are four issues blocking us from distributing a BSD build: 1) We still have yet to establish a working build/compilation system, 2) we need to be able to build all of our dependencies, 3) we need to figure out an appropriate method for the update system and 4) we need to figure out an appropriate deployment/installation method.

We’re focusing on the Windowns/MacOS X builds right now but the BSD build is in our minds.

Lolz. But what you’ve been doing with the game looks great so far from the other vids. I’m on BSD myself so looking forward to seeing it on there sometime, pity I’m not technically minded though :o (
